"Hi Guys,
Let me share my perspective on it. I started watching videos from the CATking channel years before as I wanted to improve my Verbal ability and know about the CAT exam. Hence after deciding to give CAT 2022 the first thing I did was to visit the youtube channel. Luckily the first few videos that I watched over there were about the strategy for the CAT exam. This strategy is what actually helped me to see the CAT exam as doable. Also, I kept watching youtube videos and Live streams for motivation and strategy. For the Youtube channel, I would mention the religious dedication of Sumit sir towards preparing CAT aspirants is commendable, I would like to see this channel getting diversified in other fields if possible.
Now, as this was my first and last attempt for CAT I wanted to join preparation classes. However, I had time constraints as I was a working professional it was really difficult for me to join the CAT preparation classes anywhere so I took the path of self-study. You got to take this decision as per your situation, also you will need Mock Tests for sure (I used the free mocks compiled by Shweta Arora).
I joined the GDPI batch of the CATKing after the CAT 2022 result. Now after the CAT exam and getting a decent percentile, I found myself bombarded by a lot of information that I was not able to manage. After finding out that I made some mistakes as not giving XAT, IIFT, NMAT, and SNAP exams and also didn’t fill out the MDI and SPjain forms I decided it is high time to join coaching, and as CATking was available as one of the best prices hence I joined it. There I did find a lot of resources that were present in the dashboard which could have helped me while preparing. Now for GDPI, you are required to talk to someone to get your thoughts clear for an interview, for this my mentor Komal Priya worked well for me and gave me enough confidence. For GDPI, I am sure that CATking will connect you with the right people and groups to help you out.
In conclusion, I would say: You need to answer this question needs to be answered from your perspective and position. I do believe that CATking could have helped me to improve my score however that might have come at the cost of practice sessions which could have been counter-effective. In the end, I am very happy with the result I got from CAT.

"Absolutely it is, I had joined CATKing for my preparation of car 2022 in july after watching video of the channel on YouTube, I wasn't aware of alot of things including factors like academic diversity and so on which motivated me to prepare for CAT and XAT seriously. So when it came to choosing a coaching from where I could get the material (often overlooked but a very important factor of preparation) and mocks (obviously the holy grail) I decided to go with catking because of the reasonable pricing and the connect that I had already made with the channel and i must say I was not disappointed the books provided are concise and diverse enough to prepare you for the examination and the mocks have the most varied difficulty level of any offering ( I tried most of them). On top of all of this i got the daily live classes and recorded lectures on all the topics asked in the exam for a self paced learning experience, at this point looking back at it I couldn't have had better mentors and material to prepare with, I was refraining from writing this answer until now because it might just be me coming from a place of bias to comfort myself about my decision but now that I have converted XlRI jsr campus i am confident enough in saying catking played a pivotal role in my journey.

When the exams approached near, while the other coaching institutes stopped conducting lectures; CATKing started to teach the strategies to do in the exam. Yes, you will be added to a WhatsApp group which will include students of your batch and all important updates will be posted on that group.
Yes. Every Saturday and Sunday 2 hours each - 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Additional verbal lectures every Wednesday and Friday with Rahul sir (Director of CATKing) - 9:00pm to 10:00pm.
No, books are available online on the CATKing portal. As the exam is going to be online too, it is recommended to build a habit to refer to online notes instead of hard copy books.
Your goal will be dependent on your current level of proficiency in the English Language and your minimum score requirement. However, we would recommend aiming for at least a 7-7.5 in each module to be eligible for more colleges, workplaces and countries.
You can apply for a review of your band scores (called an Enquiry on Results) at your test centre within 6 weeks of the test date.
You must pay an enquiry fee, which is fully refunded if your band score changes. If your band score changes, you will be issued a new Test Report Form (TRF).
The request for a remark must be made within 6 weeks of the date shown on your Test Report Form (TRF). You can request a remark on the whole test or any part of it (Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking).
