I have been with CATKing for the past 3 years. The institute has a team of experienced faculty members who provide personalized guidance to students and help them prepare for the exams. Im fahiz, converted in IIM Calcutta. Final year btech student. Obc ncl male. I prepared for the cat exam by myself. got 97.96%. I only used catking for my pi wat preparations. Their materials are super useful. They charge fees, But there are enough resources, that's what I feel, they are updated.

The hr team led by Anisha Ma'am is always at hand to solve any and all problems.
The only con I think is that there is very little teacher-student interaction during live classes. But that comes with the territory (online coaching). Nobody can offer high-quality coaching as well as a personalized experience at rates comparable to what Catking is offering.

Getting into an IIM is not just about getting a good CAT score, rather id says you have just completed 50% of your journey when you get your cat scores, we still have to cover the other half which is interviews and group discussions. I even joined GDPI course at Catking, it was a good experience, we can schedule mock interviews, get a pretty good feedback. But the best part of it was, whenever a college released its interview list, all shortlisted students could get a chance to join a meet with the current students of that college and get some exclusive insights that might definitely help in your interview preparations.

The thing that I loved the most were the CATKing social media groups where so many people from so many diverse academic and professional backgrounds convene, discuss, share knowledge and experiences bringing in loads of exposure. And all of this at just INR 1,000! I'd say it was surely worth it, especially now that I've converted my IIM Ahmedabad call and waiting on other results. Thank you CATKing!

From my personal experience catking is worth joining as they helped me a lot during my preparation. I got a lot of help for my I interviews and SOP preparation.
Their mock interviews helped me to to be well prepared which helped me to convert NMIMS-Mumbail and IMT.

Frequently Asked Questions
It tests your proficiency in the English Language so that they can decide whether you are eligible to study or work in the country you are applying to.
The countries that usually accept IELTS scores are Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Any person who is above 16 years of age is eligible to appear for the IELTS exam. You can be of any nationality, background or gender to appear for this exam. Also, there is no minimum qualification/percentage required to register.
Practice is the key to getting a good score in your IELTS exam. We recommend understanding the exam format properly once and then giving a mock exam to understand where you are. Once you do that, keep practising till you reach your goal in at least 2-3 mock exams.
Usually intermittent users of English require more time to practise than expert users.
There are a total of 4 modules. Each module has the following number of questions:
- Listening: 40 questions (30 mins)
- Reading: 40 questions (60 mins)
- Writing: 2 main tasks (60 mins)
- Speaking: 3 parts (11-14 minutes)
You will receive an individual band (range 1-9) score for each module on the test.
Each question in the listening and reading session carries 1 mark.
Your score will be calculated on a total of 40 marks for both these sections and then converted to band score.
The writing and speaking tests have a predetermined rubric as well.
Your overall score is calculated by averaging the four individual scores and rounding it off in half or whole bands .
You can apply for a review of your band scores (called an Enquiry on Results) at your test centre within 6 weeks of the test date.
You must pay an enquiry fee, which is fully refunded if your band score changes. If your band score changes, you will be issued a new Test Report Form (TRF).
The request for a remark must be made within 6 weeks of the date shown on your Test Report Form (TRF). You can request a remark on the whole test or any part of it (Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking).
Candidates must have completed graduation or can be in the final year of the graduation.
